Later: They said they were having a lazy day, and I wasn't moving too fast myself, so we'll make it another weekend.
I went shopping at AQP. I got a couple of short stories from Amber Allure, "Permanently Legless" by J.L. Merrow and "All Work and No Play" by Anah Crow and Dianne Fox. I think they're both the length called "Amber Kisses." It didn't take long to read them.
In the early evening: I went out briefly. It was cold out, but not terribly so. The snowdrops are up and in bud, and the daffodil leaves are coming up. Apparently they had enough chilling. It's too early for them, of course. It took a long time for the tea roses to go dormant, and the early bulbs didn't stay dormant long enough. I'll have to look at the crocuses and see what's going on with them.
There seem to be two types of snowdrops, one kind with wider leaves and one with narrower leaves. I'm assuming the ones with wide leaves are Galanthus elwesii and the ones with narrower leaves are G. nivalis.
