Wednesday so far

I made a quick trip out to do errands, and got a library book I'd placed on hold, the fourth in the Wicked Years series.  I saw P. at the grocery store.  All in all, it was a pretty productive trip.

AE had the recap for last night's Glee.  I don't think I have too much more to say than I said here.  Perhaps I'll make a comment about how they treat disability.  There was also a line in which Becky looked at Mike Chang and said she wasn't a "rice queen."  I found that very offensive.

P. called and said she'd just gotten off work.  We'll try to get together sometime.

I'll post about what I read.  A number of online sites are down today in protest of a bill that would censor the Internet.  I don't object to parental controls at home and school if someone has children, but some of us go to sites with mature content.  (Added: Apparently it would be that a site would be taken down if it had a link to copyrighted material?)

Later: I searched various places and found free romances.  Ellora's Cave has their free books promo for this couple of weeks, and Samhain has Northern Exposure by Mari Carr free as an e-book on Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

I read another of the books I'd gotten from Amber Quill Press, A Cat Named Hercules.  I recommend it for people who like cats.  I'm not a cat person.  The book got better for me when it started to concentrate on Shiloh and Gale's relationship.  I think it's a series by K.C. Kendricks, and I've read the last couple.  At some point I want to read the earlier ones.
