My only trip out was to the podiatrist, where I got the same therapy I've been getting, hydrotherapy, electrotherapy and ultrasound.  I forgot to sleep with the splint on last night, and I could feel it.  I'll try to remember tonight.  They taped my foot up again, but not before taking impressions for orthotics.  We'll see how that goes.

Aside from that I was using Calibre and doing book shopping.  Books I get directly from Samhain come out with a very small font on the Sony e-readers in e-pub format.  They're quite a readable font size in LRF format, but it makes a 200-page book 600 pages, with a couple paragraphs a page.  I was experimenting with transforming e-pub to e-pub, which makes for a slightly larger font.

I got some books from Harlequin.  I've been using the $4 off per purchase coupon.  On the 28th and 29th I got books for 49 cents each.  Today I got two books for 5 cents each.  So I spent $1.08 that I wasn't particularly planning to spend, but I got four books.  They have DRM, but after several attempts I got them onto my Sony.

I shopped at ARe, too, to get the third book in the series that I'd gotten the two for 5 cents books.  I guess their methods worked.  I'd read one of the books in a One-Click Buy bundle from the library.  That was one of the 5 cent books I got, because I liked it.  I also got other books from ARe.  I got Lee Rowan's Witch of the Wind and the Last Gasp anthology, which has a story by Charlie Cochrane.  That brought me to the "buy ten books get one free" level, so I got Slow Fires.
