Monday so far

I went with Mom to the library where she works, as she was working 2:00 to 10:00 p.m. and likes for me to drive her.  On the way there, I read Lady Night, which was a prequel to Out of the Woods.  Once there, I read Love's Baggage, by T.A. Chase.  I had read Allergies, the first in the series, but the second, Nick of Time, sounded very dark.  I think a lot in Love's Baggage would have made much more sense if I'd read Nick of Time.

I expect to read a few more books while at the library.

Added: I read Laura Baumbach's The Lost Temple of Karttikeya, the ninth in the Collector series.  I wondered if I would have gotten more out of it if I'd read the first eight.  It got wackier and wackier towards the end, but I pretty much rolled with it.  Sometimes that happens with Laura's books.  I think I've read just about all of hers now.  She's had a couple books that have been works in progress for a few years, but I think she's just been busy with publishing.

I read Rough Ride, the fourth in the Cattle Valley series.  I had read the first three, though I don't think I read them in order.  I made sure to mention on the AE m/m romance forum thread that the novella has older protagonists, as Ulysses loves books with older characters.  I started the fifth in the series, Physical Therapy, and I'll probably pick up with that again soon enough.
