Mom and I went on a couple of errands, then went to the library. I returned Covet and Crave, and she got the second in the series she's reading. I told her I wanted to stop at Barnes & Noble, and she said she had gift certificates at home. She would have given them to my cousins, but it doesn't seem like we're exchanging gifts this year. When we got home, she couldn't find them. I don't know why I was surprised. I went off to the bookstore to get Envy.
We'll see what else I do today. I expect I'll do some editing and some reading. I did ask at the library how to search for e-books that were in the library system, and the reference librarian was quite helpful.
Last night/early morning Saturday/Sunday: After a couple of hours of trying to get to sleep, I gave up for a bit and read The Air Scout, second in Ross Kay's Big War series. It was fairly decent, and Leon seems to be a much smarter character than his brother Earl. Here we meet Jacques, as well. I was glad to have gotten it. Now I want to figure out how I can get it scanned so it can go up as a free e-book, since it's out of copyright. I wonder if I could contact Project Gutenberg about it. (Edited: I mean scanned by Google or Project Gutenberg, not scanned by me.)
