Wednesday

Got out of the house.  It rained off and on, and at one point I had to turn the computer off because there was a thunderstorm.

I read Reindeer Games by Jet Mykles.  It involved elves and shapeshifting reindeer.  It wasn't exactly deep, but it was cute.  I also read Pisces: From Behind That Locked Door by Pepper Espinoza.  It was one in the Boys of the Zodiac series.  Jay was a grad student at a Utah university.  He was overweight and had body image issues.  Jay had a crush on the director of the university's GLBT center, Stephen.  I liked the protagonists.  I couldn't stand the villain.  I thought it was good how the other characters in the book mattered to Jay in various ways, too.  Sometimes a romance just focuses on the love interest, but there were other things going on in Pisces, too.

I continued working on my project of listing the authors and titles posted about on the AE m/m romance forum.  It's still very much a work-in-progress, and I think it always will be.  It's also got my individualistic notes at this point.  Some of them will likely go if I get around to showing the list to more than three people, but I think for now they add flavor.  Ideally the list would become interactive at some point, so at least a couple of others could make additions and corrections.  I have a few members of AE who post frequently on that forum in mind.
