I did my Kobo contest playing today -- well, for the 15th.  I looked up Moira Rogers, as I like the books she's written for Changeling.  She had a bunch of novellas from Samhain listed in the Kobo bookstore, but I'm just shopping directly from Samhain now that they have one consolidated website for showing what books they have out and for purchasing the books.  Why get a DRM epub when I can download all the formats from Samhain?

Anyway, I also found Moira in an anthology from Carina, Winter Wishes.  It's apparently a straight counterpart to His for the Holidays.  Since Carina's only format now is epub, I figured I might as well go ahead.  I don't know if I'm going to play in the next "win a Kobo" promotional.

I just read that Borders in the U.S. may well be liquidating, so I don't know how long I'd have to get a Kobo by actually buying one.  I thought I'd have a few months at least to think about it, but now I don't know if I'll have much more than a few days.  I'm still puzzled as to why I want to collect e-readers, aside from just generally wanting to collect things.
