speaker at Lincoln

Went to Lincoln University to see Dr. Cornel West speak.  Quite a speech.  He referred to so much in pop culture that the students would fully appreciate, yet also put a good bit of classical philosophy in his talk, as well.  I more expected the classical philosophy than I expected such a noted academic to be so deeply involved in popular culture as well.  I don't know that I've ever seen anyone speak who's quite that articulate.  I may have read one or two of his books several years ago -- I had certainly heard quite a lot about him, read some excerpts or quotes from his books, and heard him speak on TV.
