Paul Neyron rose 2

I should go to bed fairly soon...

Later: I stayed up late, past 3:00 a.m., because I got into a project of trying to find "Present-Day Gardening" books, which is a series from the early 1900s, in e-book format.

Retrospectively: I found that books 1-17 in the series had been digitized.  There were plans to do several more books, but I have a feeling that those plans might have been minor casualties of World War I.  I was pleased to find Tulips, Lilies and Sweet Peas, among other books in the series.  Some were digitized by Cornell University, and some were digitized by the University of British Columbia.

I woke quite early, though.  Mom and I took a trip to Walmart in the late morning.  Some of the people at our local Walmart are bad about wearing masks, or bad about wearing them correctly.  It's stressful to go there.  We talked about going to one of the bigger Walmarts several miles farther away next time.  They have more things we want, and the buildings are considerably larger.

We made a quick stop at the grocery store, too.

After that, I worked on my project of finding old gardening books, and then took a nap in the afternoon.  Shopping still exhausts me.  I was hoping to get some plants planted, but that didn't happen.

I went out for a bit later, and picked a couple of orris flowers, a bud of the 'Indian Chief' iris, and a bud of a mystery iris that has also been living in a windowbox type of pot for a couple of years.
