Paul Neyron rose 2

Tuesday

I was up late, and woke early.  I'll probably be going down for a nap again in the next few hours to catch up on some of that sleep.  Hopefully I can do something productive today.

I was a little productive as far as getting my car out of the snowbank its rear wheels were parked in.  Fortunately it's a front-wheel drive, or I would have been going nowhere.  When I pulled into a clearer spot a little way farther down the driveway, Dad and I were able to salt the area and try to shovel enough snow out of the space that my car didn't have to stay in the middle of the driveway.  I also put a little salt down at the edges of the driveway where Mom had driven over the snow to get out this morning.  Those sections were flattened, but more icy than other areas.  However, I think I widened the amount of driveway that we could use, at least a little bit on each side, and down at the bottom, where the snow melt runoff in the gutter was going under the snow by the mailbox and flowing in its designated path and then under the snowbank on the other side, where the slope is downhill.
