Paul Neyron rose 2

Monday

I slept a little bit in the early morning.

I think I got food poisoning from some junk food I ate on Sunday night.  My body was certainly working to purge whatever it was.  It was pretty gross.  I passed out at one point, and found myself lying on the bathroom floor.  Mom asked me a while later about a new dent low on the bathroom wall.  I had thought the splitting headache was purely internal, but when she asked, I realized that I had a bump on my head that matched the dent in the wall, and that I had come to right by that area.  Mom was worried that I'd given myself a concussion.  I don't think I did.  I don't think it was very long before I regained consciousness, because Mom would have noticed if I'd been in there for a very long time.

After that, I just rested and took medicine and ate bland food when I thought I could handle it.  Mom went out to the grocery store to get me bananas, and then cooked some rice for my dinner.  I appreciated her care.

I caught up with J. in the early evening.  We would like to get together for Mom's birthday, but no-one is particularly feeling perky, from Morris the dog, who apparently has pancreatitis, to us with our allergies and me with the gastro-intestinal issues I had today.

I hope the rest of the week is fairly quiet.  I'm not planning to push myself too much if I don't have to.
