Sunday -- Easter

I think I went to bed around 2:30 a.m. or so.  I didn't wake up an hour after I'd gone to sleep, or at 4:00 a.m., thankfully.  I woke around 6:00 a.m., I think, and went back to bed at 7-something.  Mom told me at 9:30 a.m. that video church would be on downstairs, but I'd taken Advil because my hip and back were very bad, and I went back to sleep until noon.

It's ironic, all the times I've driven myself to Easter services at the church my folks attend, and when video church was on right downstairs, I slept through it.  J. called in the early afternoon to wish us a Happy Easter.  I wished him and K. a Happy Easter.

Mom and I drove around the neighborhood a little to see what flowers were blooming.  We were going to take a little walk, but I got around to going out in the late afternoon, and when we went down our street, a few raindrops fell.  So we stayed in the car.

When we got home, I worked outside for a bit, mostly labeling plants I hadn't labeled yet with the T-shaped labels.  We've had a lot of rain, and the Sharpie marker writing seems to be washing off the labels.  I still have the little pencils included with the labels, so I'll try that if the lettering in marker washes all the way off.

At home, the Judd viburnum is blooming, and the lilacs are in bud.  The wallflower is still in bud, and has been for a while.  Something is digging holes where I planted perennials near the porch, and in other flowerpots around the yard.  A lot of rodents live in the yard, plus rabbits.  I'll have to move the plants and put some kind of repellent on the roots.

Mom and I watched "Call the Midwife" in the evening.
