Paul Neyron rose 2

I slept very late, til 11:15 a.m., when I'd gone to bed not long after midnight.  I don't know what my problem was.

I talked to A.J.'s sister B.G. a little after noon.  She was doing all right, considering.  She said she'd taken a shower herself last night, and it was difficult.  I told her she could call me if she needed help.

I sprayed some of my more tender outside plants with insecticide.

Mom and I went out in mid-afternoon.  Our first stop was K-Mart.  We found summer clothes that were on clearance, but they came up regular price at the register.  The cashier seemed to be intellectually disabled.  We went to talk to the customer service representative, who said that if the clothes came up at the regular price, there was nothing she could do, despite the pink highlighting on the tags and the clearance price signs above the racks we'd gotten the clothes from.  That K-Mart, to the west of where we live, will be closing.  It was okay when Mom and I went there in the summer, but today it was really ghetto.

Next we went to a grocery store, which was still relatively high quality.  Shopping there was considerably more successful than K-Mart had been.  There was road construction on several miles of the road going east.  Altogether, it wasn't the worst shopping trip I'd been on, but it was up there in being bad.

When we got back, I brought in the tender plants I'd sprayed.  They were: the royal jasmine that had been trying hard to die in the house and revived when put outside, the two lemon verbenas, the lantana, and the crinum.  The crinum's leaves had turned brown or were brown at the ends, and I'm not sure why.  I cut the brown tips off the leaves that were still mostly green.  We'll see what happens.

I have a lot of spring-blooming hardy bulbs to plant.
