Paul Neyron rose 2

Monday so far

I turned off my computer at 11:15 p.m., which wasn't too bad.  I started reading a m/m romance that was one of the ones I got for free.  It's pretty good.  I went to bed at 12:30 a.m., feeling exhausted, though I'd done nothing much physically all day.  I think I fell asleep pretty quickly.  I woke a little before 8:30 a.m., so I figure I got at least 7 1/2 hours sleep.

Mom and I went to the library and got season three of "Call the Midwife."  I renewed the Easy Rawlins books I had out.  I am very slowly getting around to reading them.  I started White Butterfly, which I own, but it's depressing.  We went to the grocery store and saw P.  I said "Happy Thanksgiving" to her and told her to give Ms. F. my love.  We got what we needed for today at the grocery store.  Mom had coupons at home, so she wanted to wait and use the coupons on her next shopping trip.  The Amish market is open Tuesday and Wednesday, so we will probably go there, too.  I have an appointment with Dr. L. in the early afternoon on Tuesday, so I may just go to the Amish market from there.

I called A.J. and said "Happy Thanksgiving" to her and her sister B.  I will call YMCA-P. tonight, I think, and wish him a "Happy Thanksgiving."

Later: I rambled extensively to A.W. while she was away.  I left her a lot to read.  I said I was reading about five books, including White Rage.  I got another book at that time, The Ghosts of Jim Crow, by someone who was on Don Lemon's show. White Rage is about whites' reactions when black people have accomplishments.  It starts at the Civil War.  I've gotten up to reactions to Brown vs. the Board of Education.  So far the book has been very depressing.
