Paul Neyron rose 2

Friday so far

I turned the computer off a little after midnight.  I was reading a PDF of Ethan, Who Loved Carter.  I should have just put the .mobi version on the Kindle and read that.  After I turned off the computer, I read part of Heidi Cullinan's new one, Enjoy the Dance.  I wasn't happy with Heidi's reaction to Julio's Gay for You non-review of Keira Andrews' book, but I loved Dance with Me.  This new book is hitting heavily on the politics.  Not that I don't agree with the liberal politics, but the messages are anvilicious in the same way that Suzanne Brockmann's messages are anvilicious.  I finally went to bed a little before 2:00 a.m.  It took me a little while to get to sleep, but I don't think it took a super-long time.  I got up with my alarm at 10:00 a.m., so that wasn't bad.

I wrote a little scene in the collaboration book.  I got a new Hollis Shiloh book.

Later: Mom and I went shopping.  We went to Wal-Mart, and I got air fresheners for the car, those little trees.  We went to the Entenmann's outlet and I got raisin bread.  Mom got a big bag with a collection inside of small bags of pretzels and other snack foods.  She's going to give that out instead of candy on Hallow'een.  We went to the grocery store for a quick stop.  I got hypoallergenic hand lotion.  I seem to be getting allergic to more lotions and fragrances than I used to be.

When we got home, I put the "clean linen" air freshener tree in my car.

Later than that: I shopped at Dreamspinner Press, which is having a sale.  I chatted a little with A.W.

The Friday Night Friends are going to a dance.  At least my car will smell better for the trip.

Much later: I went to the dance.  YMCA-A. got me to come dance for a song.  I hadn't moved my hips that way for a long time, and quickly got sore.  It was nice of her to want me to try, though.  It was fun seeing a lot of people in Halloween costumes.

After I got home, I proofread a story for A.W.  Proofreading is fun for me.  I am weird like that.

I had put the .mobi version of Ethan, Who Loved Carter on my Kindle, and reread some more of that.
