Paul Neyron rose 2

Saturday so far

I kept the computer on until midnight working on a long editing job.  I went to bed a little before 2:00 a.m.  I woke at 4:30 a.m., but went back to bed and got back to sleep.  I got up with my alarm at 10:00 a.m., so that wasn't too bad.

Rainjoy wrote a new chapter of the Affinity 'Verse, a short one, but it had plot.

B.L. and A.L. and I went to a Japanese restaurant where we had the lunch special, the food prepared in front of us, including bursts of flame and the cook juggling an egg on a spatula.  It was quite a show, and the food was good.

I have more of the editing job to work on.  I got free e-books.  I have a lot I can read.

A few hours later: I finished up the big editing job.

I went outside for a bit.  I smelled the roses.  There were still a couple of flowers on 'Maiden's Blush' and 'Konigen von Danemark', but unfortunately it's Japanese beetle season now.  The sambac jasmine 'Maid of Orleans' is blooming.  I put another couple of jasmines outside.  The ferns where the big overhanging broken branch was are kind of squished from the labor of the guys cutting down the broken branch, but the ferns farther back from what used to be the vegetable garden look good.  The ferns that spread out so much are lady ferns.  The sweet peas are blooming.
