Paul Neyron rose 2

Saturday so far

I turned the computer off at 11:00 p.m.  I read Hollis Shiloh novellas and then went to bed a little after 1:00 a.m.  I woke up at 8:45 a.m., but I don't feel too groggy.

I chatted with Riah a little.  Logee's is having some good Memorial Day sales.  I told her to tell me I didn't need an Australian tree fern.  "You do not need an Australian tree fern," she said.  I thanked her for the reinforcement.  It's supposed to be 92 degrees out today.  I'll go out briefly to smell the roses and maybe water the plants in smaller pots, but I don't plan on doing any heavy lifting.

I chatted with Jamie a little.  I texted some with J.-PA.

Mom and I went to the library and for a quick trip to the grocery store.  I went out and smelled the roses when we got home.  'Mme. Zoetmans' and 'Ispahan' have a lot of flowers open.  'Fantin-Latour' has flowers open.

I went out later.  First I went to Barnes & Noble.  I got some of the Temeraire books.  I went to Wal-Mart, and saw B.  We talked for a little bit.  I didn't want to talk too long while he was working.  I got suet at Wal-Mart.  I went to the food court at the mall and got eel sushi for myself and a Subway sub for Dad.

Later: I read quietly for a while and then worked on an editing job.  I reread the previous novellas in the series, and then worked on that fourth one.  The author had left books two and three off on some nasty cliffhangers, and book three didn't resolve book two's cliffhangers.  I'm glad they were finally resolved.
