Paul Neyron rose 2

Thursday so far

I went to bed around 12:30 a.m.  It took me a while to get to sleep.  I woke myself up at 9:00 a.m.

I cooked jasmine rice.

I got my garden club things together and went to E.H.'s house.  I brought the rice and all my stuff.  We had a business meeting before lunch, and I took the minutes, as usual.

We had a nice lunch.  I headed out a little after 2:00 p.m. so I could pick up Dad and we could go to the university where Mom works to hear the Christmas concert.  Dad wasn't ready when I got home.  I expect we'll set out in half an hour or so.  I want to get there before it gets dark.

A couple of hours later: Dad and I set out at 3:30, picked up a large hoagie for all of us to share, and got to the university right before dark.

Much later: There hadn't been much advertising for the concert, apparently, because it was a small audience.  But the concert choir was very good, and the university singers group, and the men's glee club.  Too bad there weren't more people there to appreciate it, but the audience was still enthusiastic.  It was lovely.  I'll have to see if I can find some clips on YouTube tomorrow.
