Paul Neyron rose 2

Saturday so far

I turned off the computer a bit before 11:00 p.m., if I remember right.  I went to bed around midnight and fell asleep pretty fast, though I woke at probably 2:30 a.m.  I got up briefly at 3:00 a.m., then lay down again until 4:00 a.m., when I got up to drink some Alka-Seltzer.  I don't think it took me a very long time to get to sleep after that.  I got up at noon, though I really should have gotten up at 11:00 a.m. at the latest.

I chatted with Riah a little bit.

Mom and I went out and about in the afternoon.  It was cold out, but we were pretty bundled up.  We went to an Entenmann's outlet.  We went to Best Buy.  We went to Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft.  We went to Five Below.  The parking lots in that shopping area were crazy.

I'll ask A. if he wants to chat tomorrow.

"The Musketeers" is on tonight.  It's episode three.  British viewers have already seen episode four.  It looks like BBC America viewers will be two episodes behind now.

Later: I called YMCA-P. and we talked a bit.  I arranged to talk with A. tomorrow night.

I watched "The Musketeers."  I wondered about the history.  I thought the Moors had already been driven out of Spain by the early 1600s.  I knew Tariq was an Arabic name.  Samara knew the history of her people.  Porthos only knew that he was French and that on his mother's side he was of African descent.  He didn't know what country or tribe in Africa.  This is pretty common for the African diaspora, losing the history.  I'll have to watch the episode again and think about it.
