Paul Neyron rose 2

Monday so far

I didn't do too well with sleeping last night.  I went to bed at 1:30 a.m. and lay there for an hour.  I took Benedryl, and Zantac half an hour later.  From around 3:30 a.m. on, I dozed off in the blue recliner in the family room for a while.  I went up to bed at 5:00 a.m.  I went to sleep again pretty quickly after that.  I got up a little after 1:00 p.m., which was very bad.

I set out for the YMCA at 2:00 p.m.  I swam for a while, then did a little workout in the weight room, and a few minutes on the treadmill.  I started reading Alma's Will, which is depressing so far.

The jasmine had a flower open.  It was starting to rain when I came back from the Y, so I picked the flower to enjoy it inside.

Rainjoy said not to remind her of how much she'd written.  I had said on her LJ that the Affinity!Verse was over 600 pages.  We still haven't gotten to d'Artagnan yet.  Rainjoy said there were other continents for the boys to get to yet.  They live in Europe.  They've been to North America a couple of times.  They've been to Asia.  Athos and Porthos haven't yet been to South America.  The girls' circle is in South America.  Constance already knew the musketeers before d'Artagnan showed up, so perhaps the boys will meet Constance, and Athos will meet Flea.

Later: I finished my Musketeers rewatch with episodes 8, 9 and 10.  The series made more sense when I knew who everybody was and what they were like.

I chatted with WhiteSheepCBD for a while.  We talked some about fandom.  I have mixed feelings about the Glee fandom.  I have enjoyed a good bit of the fic, and read some great meta.  I have made some interesting friends.  I have also heard a lot of negativity and fan craziness towards the actors.  I've seen how some people hatewatch the show.  I like the show itself better than a fair amount of the fandom, except for liking the friends I've made.

With "The Musketeers," I've only been reading the Affinity!Verse and some fics on AO3, and not reading the comments on AO3.  I've only made one post about it on Tumblr.  I don't think people hatewatch it like they do Glee.  I am aware there were racists who were outraged that there was a biracial Porthos, but I'm sure there were a good many people happy about the representation, too.  And especially the representation of people of color in historical fiction.
