Paul Neyron rose 2

Saturday so far

I went to bed around 1:30 a.m. and woke at 9:15 a.m.  I was glad I'd woken early, as I had time to get things done.

I sat under the sunlight-effect lamp for half an hour.  I got the free book from ARe.  I set the CW rerun of Glee to tape.  Next week the Oxygen channel has some season one episodes in the morning, including ones from the second half of the first season that I'd missed taping.  I have to remember to tape them.

Mom and I went out on a couple of errands, including to a grocery store.  J. and K. said they were going to come visit.  They'd like to go eat at a local Italian food place, but we got a lot of cold cuts at the grocery store, so we'll see what we do for a late lunch.

It's pretty nice out.  I'm thinking that maybe we can all go to a local park and take a walk after lunch.

Later: J. and K. showed up a bit before 2:00 p.m.  We went to the Italian place.  I got eggplant parmesan.  When we got home, I walked them around and showed them what was blooming in the yard.  The grape hyacinths by the back door are up.  I showed them the daffodils, winter honeysuckle and mahonia.  I cut some daffodils for K. to take home with her.  I found the birthday card I had gotten for K. a couple of weeks before her actual birthday, but not put an address on.  She liked it quite a lot.  J. showed me how to send pictures from my phone to the computer.  It was nice to see J. and K.  It had been a while.

I taped "Big Brother" and "Saturday Night Glee-ver."  I hope that Mom and I can watch "The New Rachel" sometime tonight, before the baseball game starts.  We'll see.

Later still: We didn't watch "The New Rachel," but I did a rewatch of "Tested."

I texted some with J.-PA.  I told her she had to read "Watercolor Hearts," since she's such a big fan of Preciousmellow and likes stories with disabled characters.
