Maiden's Blush rose

Saturday so far

There hasn't been much of it for me.  I was up late writing e-mail and woke at around 11:30 a.m. today.  I listened to the Fuck Yeah Glee Podcast on disability and mental illness.  The icons for people's names didn't come up when they were talking, and the computer screen shown for the podcast was doing odd things.  They talked a fair amount about Artie and Becky and Emma.  There was a person who used a wheelchair on the panel.  She said that the language used for Artie and his disability was the wrong language.  Some of the sentiment from others seemed to be to not expect the right language from Puck, but there was the argument that the audience wouldn't necessarily know better.

It looks clearer out today than it was yesterday, so I'll probably go out for a bit.

Slightly later: I went out and took pictures of the daffodils and magnolias.  I went over to the mahonia and winter honeysuckle.  Shoots of the white lily-of-the-valley are coming up in the rectangular pot by the herb garden.

I fell asleep at 7:00 p.m. and slept until 10:00 p.m.  I watched "Shooting Star" again.  I'm starting to be able to watch it without feeling so raw about it.  The kids in the choir room and Brittany are just so frightened.

I worked on an editing job for a while, then went to bed around 5:00 a.m.
