Paul Neyron rose 2

Tuesday so far

I got sleepy by 10:30 or 11:00 p.m. last night, and went to bed before midnight.  That was different.  I woke around 8:30 a.m.  I have no idea.

I did an errand and got my hair done.  It's back to auburn after several months of having it brown and gray.  The hairdresser noticed that it had been a long time since I'd had it done.

When I got back, I put the plants I'd put on the porch out in the rain to water them.  It's been varying between raining lightly and raining hard all day.  It wasn't raining hard when I went into and out of the beauty parlor, though my car hydroplaned a bit while I was driving to the shopping area.  The anti-lock brakes kicked in on a winding road, when I had to stop because cars were stopped at a caution light under a bridge.  I steered towards the side of the road, not that there was much of a shoulder or anything.  But I avoided the car in front of me, and my car came to a stop.  I guess my reflexive reaction was good enough.  Anti-lock brakes make the car take longer to stop.

Once I got home, I decided that was it for my travels for the day.  But I was happy to have my hair dyed and cut.

The Glee Project is on tonight.  I'm sure I'll have something to say later.

Later: I talked to P. for an hour.  I did a few hours of editing, finishing up one job and getting a hundred pages into the second read-through of another.
Paul Neyron rose 2

reality TV

For some reason I was feeling sensitive today, and it bummed me out that a fictional character was killed off in a book I was reading.  I went into watching the Glee Project expecting to feel emotionally manipulated, and actually felt much less so than I thought I would.  I realized it was there as a part of the show, but I still got caught up in the progression of events.

(*spoilers*)  Taryn decided to go home.  Dani was the one who wasn't called back.

I hadn't realized that Tyler's body was changing so much from the testosterone, not just his voice.  I knew testosterone made it easier to get muscle.  He has a lot of personality and seems to make a real effort.  I think those things are helping him.

There's much talk about how there will only be one winner of the show.  I'm finding it difficult to believe that only one of the performers will make an appearance on Glee itself.  It might not be for seven episodes, but my wild guess is that some of the others might show up.
