Later: Mom and I went for a walk in the park she likes in the afternoon. Also we just sat on a park bench for a while and she enjoyed the sun. I enjoyed the nice weather also. It was close to 70 degrees F today in the afternoon.
When we got home, I saw that I'd gotten the 'Pink Sunrise' Muscari bulbs. I changed to gardening clothes, and planted them in the "crocus garden" next to the driveway that's mostly irises and 'Tete-a-Tete' daffodils now. I also planted three irises and nine tulips before I lost the light. The irises were 'Mrs. Horace Darwin,' a mystery one, and a piece of 'Indian Chief.' I planted them near the west side of the house.
I planted the 'Orange King' tulip, the 'Prince of Austria' tulips, and the 'Generaal de Wet' tulips in the "herb garden," where at least there's a hardware cloth fence a couple of feet high around the area. The orange tulips are planted near the 'Queen of Night' and 'Black Parrot' tulips. Depending on bloom time, that should make a vivid contrast of colors.
