Later: I didn't go to sleep "soon." I was watching the DVD of Captain America: The First Avenger, but the remote for the DVD player stopped working. I went upstairs and ventured into the den to look for a new battery for the remote. Surprisingly enough, I found that kind of battery in Dad's battery collection. I finished watching the DVD, and went to bed. I only slept for a couple of hours, though. I woke at 4:00 a.m. for no apparent reason, and went downstairs again at 5:00 a.m. Partly I was hungry, and partly I wanted to check whether the last episode of "Falcon and the Winter Soldier" was available. It was, so I had an early breakfast and watched the show before Mom came down for breakfast. Then I went upstairs and napped for an hour or two.
In the afternoon, I went out and worked with my garden plants for a couple of hours. I felt that was sort of productive.
I called Mrs. L. in the evening, and asked her if she wanted to come over to see the plants. I called YMCA-K., and after a bit of phone tag, we caught up for about half an hour. K. said I could have half of the bulbs she'd ordered. I don't necessarily need half, but we'll figure it out.
