Later: I made it to an appointment at an optometrist to start the process of getting bifocals or progressive lenses, since I broke and then lost my reading glasses a few weeks ago.
I went to the library and got books with lots of pictures. I've somewhat given up on reading fine print for the time being. I stopped and picked up burgers for dinner.
Note: One of the 'Ice Follies' daffodils that I put in pebbles and water a month or two ago is blooming.
