I'm trying to take a day off from shopping. We'll see how that plan goes.
It's cold out, so I doubt I'll do much in the way of yardwork, if any. I'll go out and look at the tulips, probably.
I got some more laundry done, so that's progress.
I talked for a while with A.J. and her sister B.
Later: I ended up doing quite a lot of yardwork. I cleared tall grass out from around my smaller roses. I cut dead canes off the sweet briar rose that's near the porch. Some were very large dead canes. Dad commented at some point that it was snowing, and then later that there were more flurries, but I was in the zone of lopping off those big dead branches. At least this time I wore cowhide leather gloves, which protected my hands to a large extent. I was also cutting live and dead grapevines off of the sweet briar and a nearby boxwood. I brought the wheelbarrow over to put the dead branches in. Dad ended up taking several wheelbarrow loads over to a woodpile.
