Friday -- Good Friday

I went to bed a little before 1:00 a.m. and woke at a little before 5:00 a.m. for no apparent reason.  Eventually I went back to sleep and got up for the day at 10:30 a.m.

I had a quiet day, rather quieter than I wanted.  Mom and Dad watched Good Friday virtual church starting at noon.

S.D. actually came to clean the house, but she's been wearing a mask when she does house-cleaning for ages, so she doesn't inhale anything that would irritating for her.  I just tried to stay out of her way.  Really, we all did.  I'd wanted to go out to get potting soil and such, but the weather was really miserable, cold and rainy and windy, so I didn't especially feel like going outside.

For some reason, I always get very sleepy around 3:00 p.m.  I'd taken Advil around 2:00 p.m. for various aches and pains, mostly in my back and around to my hips.  I lay down a bit after that, and took a short nap.  When I got up and went downstairs, Mom suggested that I pick up a takeout dinner from the local Italian restaurant.  I hadn't been planning to go out at all today, but I went out for that.  I said we had to have an early dinner because T., the Friday Night Friends volunteer, was having an informal virtual hangout for the Friday Night Friends.  I picked up dinner a little after 5:30 p.m.  It was very good.

The hangout worked pretty well.  Several people must have had relatives help them to get into the virtual meeting, but that was cool.  I had weeks worth of stuff I wanted to talk about, but other members of the group had things to say also.  It was really nice to be able to see my buddies and talk to them, even though it was virtual.

I started a new part-time job this morning. It went okay.

I have various errands to do today. I got some sleep. Later: Mom made a grocery store run in the morning. I didn't end up going with her on that…
