I ventured out in the early afternoon to take a look at the plants in the yard, though it wasn't nice out. T., a volunteer at the YMCA, called to say that he and his wife A. had been out driving, and they could accept my invitation to come see the flowers. I went back out to visit with them from a bit of a distance. The 'Trevithian' daffodils are blooming on the hill in front of the driveway, and a couple of 'Lady Derby' hyacinths. There should be tulips soon, if they aren't eaten. I showed T. the mahonia and the winter honeysuckle, and the forsythia in the back yard.
I called YMCA-P. and talked to him for a while. He's bored with himself. He said I could call again. I'll try to remember to call Monday or Tuesday.
