I was up briefly at 5:30 a.m., but went back to sleep and slept far longer than I should have. I got to my doctor's appointment fifteen minutes late, and his assistant had already left. I was able to reschedule for the afternoon, fortunately. I got lunch, and got Mom a birthday card.
I went to physical therapy, then to my rescheduled appointment. I told Dr. L., the orthopedist, and his assistant that I was having a lot more low-pain days than high-pain days. Dr. L. said that the cortisone shots had worn off by now, and so it was the physical therapy that was giving me that effect. He said that I started getting a lot more high-pain days again, like I had when I saw him, to come back. He also said to keep up with the physical therapy.
