Wednesday in the early afternoon is a physical therapy day.
I went to bed at 1-something, and then I ended up going down to sleep on the couch because I was much too warm in my room. It's a hot day today. I probably finally went to sleep around 2:30 a.m. Mom was downstairs and had the TV on loudly by 7:00 or earlier. I got up at 8:00 a.m. I have the feeling I'll be taking a nap later on.
By noon, Mom and I had dropped books off at the library and gone to Walmart. I got all the stuff I wanted. Mom saw B. while she was waiting for me to check out. We talked with him for a bit. Friday Night Friends starts this Friday.
Later: Physical therapy has improved my balance and strength, apparently. I was able to balance with one foot in front of the other for a number of seconds, which I couldn't do when I started. I'm able to do other things that I couldn't at the end of July, too. And even though I may weigh a little more, I still find it much easier to get up if I've sat or lain on the floor.
After physical therapy, I had a late lunch at IHOP. I signed up for Friday Night Friends, and then got gasoline and got my car washed. I stopped at the Asian grocery on the way home, and got lychee jellies and thousand-year-old eggs, among other foods. I tried a thousand-year-old egg, and it was better than I thought it would be. It was a pretty productive day for me.
