I went out to do errands in the late afternoon. Despite the hour, it was a successful trip. I got an errand in the borough done and then went to the grocery store and got stuff we needed.
It was quite cold out. I had wondered why Mom had worn a winter coat on the expedition she and Dad made to the library and grocery store this morning. I ended up layering a fuzzy coat over my hoodie and T-shirt for my errands. There was a cold rain starting as I left the grocery store.
At home, I brought in the basil and rosemary. The rosemary was more because we were having spaghetti for dinner. It's not as tender as the basil is. The abutilon was looking rather sad, but I'd transplanted that into a big pot, so that stayed outside. I brought in a couple of sprigs of the English thyme and a couple of leaves of the lovage.
