I went to visit L.M. in the early afternoon. We watched the first episode of "Land Girls" on Netflix. I was curious to see what was blooming in the backyard, and it had stopped raining. L. took me outside, and then since it was nicer out, we walked around the neighborhood. I thought it was good to go out and get exercise. Mr. M. had grown up in the area, and he talked about how it had developed in his time.
After I got home, I picked the black parrot tulip that Mom had knocked over and a couple of 'Couleur Cardinal' tulips that had side buds coming up. Dad and I put most of the tender plants we'd gotten lately into the garage, and covered over some of the relatively hardy herbs that I'd just planted in pots yesterday with burlap.
Mom and I watched "Call the Midwife." I have an editing job to work on tonight.
