I made it in time to pick up the plants Dad and I had ordered to benefit the church youth group of the church S.M. attended. He got tomatoes, and I got annuals.
Mom had accompanied me. We made other stops. I had told her to bring a book, so she could read quietly in the car while I stopped at the Asian and Indian groceries. She was okay with that.
After lunch, I planted some of the herbs and flowers I'd gotten in the course of the last fortnight or so. It was a good day to be outside.
I talked to Mrs. L. later about the plant sales in the area in May. We agreed to go to Tyler Arboretum for the plant sale if the weather next Saturday is halfway decent. I talked to L.M. about getting together with her on Sunday afternoon.
