Today is supposed to be my birthday redo day, and J. is supposed to come up here to southeastern Pennsylvania.
A few hours later: J. made it here. We had lunch at a steakhouse.
Later: J. dropped Dad and I off at the house, and he and Mom went to Goodwill. They got a lot of stuff. They stopped home briefly, then went to the storage shed that Mom and Dad and I took a look at the other week. They brought back more of the things Mom inherited from her mother, Nana A. Mom was excited about finding a citrus knife, as I'd lost ours a few weeks ago. I know I'll find it in some weird place now that she got another one.
As they were going through a particularly large box, J. was finding lids to various containers, and then looking for the containers themselves. At one point, I said, "There must be a pony in there somewhere." J. appreciated the timeliness of that joke.
