I went to bed a little before what felt like midnight, but was actually closer to 1:00 a.m., with the time change.  I woke at 10:30 a.m., which seemed like 9:30 a.m.  I really didn't feel like getting up, and don't feel ambitious about anything.  I'm not sure what my problem is.

Later: I got things done after all.

P. called to ask if I could take her to get a fasting blood sugar on the 13th.  I told her that I was most likely going to be in Delaware that day and was very goofed up from the time change, in addition to how I usually am about sleeping late.

It was nice out.  I watched the birds in the morning.  In the late afternoon I walked around the yard.  There are a lot of snowdrops up.  The deer are eating the leaf buds and flower buds off the winter honeysuckle.  There are a lot of daffodil leaves up.  There are some crocus leaves coming up, but they'll probably be eaten.  Near the west side of the house the snow had melted, and most of the snow that was on the hillside by the driveway had melted.  I wore my "gardening" boots.  The ground was so muddy and wet that my feet got wet.  Perhaps in a few weeks flowers other than the snowdrops will be blooming.
