Saturday

I went to bed around 12:30 a.m., I think.  I got up briefly at 6:30 a.m., then went back to bed until 10:00 a.m.

I am discussing with L. from Open Doors about getting together.

Later: L. and I finally got together a little after 2:00 p.m., at a Goodwill west of where I live and east of where she lives.  I figured it was a good landmark.  Her father was able to drop her off.  We windowshopped there and at Kohl's.  In the perfume section of Kohl's, I tested Tresor, Sarah Jessica Parker's Lovely, and Donna Karan's Cashmere White.  I liked Tresor.

L. told me that I'd dropped my scarf.  I wasn't surprised, I said.  I drop my scarves very regularly.  She was amused that the "visually impaired" person had noticed that I'd dropped something.  "You saw a green blob, you figured it was my scarf," I said.  I am very near-sighted.  I can guess at what L. can perceive.  And it's a very large scarf.  L. said she liked earrings and was looking for turquoise-colored ones and red ones.  "I can make those," I said.  I've got plenty of plastic and glass beads in those colors.

We stopped at a Chinese restaurant that had additional Asian dishes, and I got pad thai.  L. got wonton soup.  Her father picked her up a little after 4:30 p.m.  It was already quite dark outside, from very gray skies.  I got home before it was completely dark.  It started snowing after I got home.  I was glad that L. and I got a chance to visit, and once I got home, I was glad I didn't have to go out again.
