I got to work at a reasonable time. I got B. all set and washed up. I cleaned, including sweeping and mopping. Oddly, sweeping the bedroom floor carpet didn't make me cough. Miss Daisy was better behaved today. It was a productive day.
It had been quite warm and humid in the morning. In the afternoon, it was cooler and the air was drier. It was still pretty warm for January, though. I planted the rest of the bulbs, the few 'Vanguard' crocus I'd missed planting on Christmas Day, bulbs Dad had from whenever he worked on the crocus garden in spring or summer, and an Easter lily. The stalk of that had died back, but the lily bulb was very much alive.
I took irises out of the windowbox-shaped pot that I'd backed into, and planted them in the ground near the front porch. I had been wanting to plant them in the ground. Hopefully they won't be disturbed now.
I transplanted houseplants that were in pots that were too small for them or otherwise unsuitable. It was a pretty productive day after I got home, too. When I was done working with the plants, I had an early dinner and took a bath. I'll have to go to bed earlier tonight.
