Monday -- New Year's Eve

I'll need to go to bed very soon, because I'm working New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.

I have a nasty bronchial cough.  I took a Tessalon Perle for it, and it's suppressed for now.  I'll see how I feel in the morning.

Later: I got up at 9:30 a.m.  I was coughing and very congested, so I took a Tessalon Perle (pill version of Robitussin).  I made it to work, and got a decent amount done.  I was wheezing, and coughing a little, so B. was telling me to go home.  I got him all set, and did the dishes.  An office staff person from a new-to-us home health agency came to talk to B.  He told her that someone could orient with me on the 6th.  I said to her that as far as I was concerned, someone could come sooner than that.  I told B. that, also, after she left.  R. told me that Miss Daisy had an 11:30 a.m. appointment with the groomer on Friday.  I have the feeling I'll be working a very long week.

J. called to wish us a Happy New Year, and I caught up with him.  I coughed a bit while talking to him, and he said I didn't sound good, and perhaps he and K. would wait until I was better to come visit.

Hexhunter will apparently be coming out pretty soon.  It's the latest of Jordan L. Hawk's Hex series, with shapeshifters and magic, set in the late 1800s/early 1900s New York City.  I did a quick reread of Hexbreaker to remind me more about the characters, though Cicero was a very distinctive character, and I certainly remembered him and the other Witch Police and familiars.
