I have to work today. I'm not feeling good, but maybe I'll feel better as the day goes on.
Later: I worked. R. was grumpy at first. He misses not having a family anymore. Apparently he and his mother were very close. B. was relatively okay, though exhausted by the time I finished washing him and putting powder and lotions on him. I was flashing between hot and cold, and took time here and there to sit down. R. worked out of his mood somewhat, I think, by telling me stories while I drank a protein drink.
At the end of my work day, I showed the guys the Santa hat given me a few years ago by T., the volunteer for Friday Night Friends. It's pink and has sequins. B. approved.
I stopped at home, then made a quick run to the grocery store to pick up something. On my way home, I stopped at Wendy's to pick up dinner for us all. Mom hasn't felt like cooking since she broke her thumb. She'll see an orthopedist on Wednesday.
I took a bath and put on a nice pair of pants and a nice blouse, and then decided I was too tired to go out again. Mom said I had told her I would go to the 10:00 p.m. Christmas Eve church service, but I couldn't remember saying that. I didn't want to go out in the dark and cold again, when I was recovering from being sick. I stayed home and quietly read while they were at church.
