I really don't want to go to work today, or any time in the next two weeks.
Later: B. was upset that I was quitting again, and R. was sad, but I explained experiences I'd had before as a nursing aide trying to get to work in ice and/or snow, and how stressed I got about not knowing if HHA-B. would show up for her shifts or not. I gave B. the new shirts I'd gotten for him. I didn't do laundry there today, but I got a lot of cleaning done.
After work, Mom and I went to Walmart and the grocery store. That was a quick but productive trip.
The podiatrist's office had our 2:15 p.m. Tuesday appointment down as a 9:15 a.m. appointment. Dad changed it to Friday afternoon, and then I spoke to the main receptionist, N., late this afternoon. We settled on a 10:30 a.m. Tuesday appointment. It's on the early side for me, but at least it's still on my theoretical day off.
I called the home health agency and spoke to the N. who works there. I said I was resigning because I couldn't take not knowing if HHA-B. would work her shift or not. N. said she totally understood, and thanked me for telling her.
