I think today will be a laundry day at B. and R.'s.
Later: It was a laundry day. The nurse we don't like from the home health care agency came to observe. "Her broom thawed out," B. said before she got there. I was wearing scrubs. I'd forgotten to change from winter boots to sneakers, so I was sweltering. R.'s been keeping the living room temperature at 78 F. V. the nurse observed me heading out of the apartment and down the hall to do laundry. I cleaned the bathroom while R. was in the kitchen. When R. was done, I did the dishes and cleaned the kitchen counters. I suppose V. observed that, too. V. wasn't too bad, or at least didn't talk to me much.
I was exhausted when I got home.
