I finished up an editing job. J. and K. told Mom in the afternoon that they were driving up with a load of furniture and the dogs.
Later: J. and K. got here at three-something. They brought a couple of the chairs that had come from Uncle D. and Aunt P.S.'s house via the ill-fated van, then via another van from New Jersey to Baltimore, then in K.'s car from Baltimore to Pennsylvania. Formerly-Brian is cute. He has something of the apple-domed head of a Chihuahua, but in build is more like a miniature pinscher. He's a lively little fellow, but not hyper. It took Dad all afternoon to realize that when J. and K. and I said "min pin," we were using the shortened term for miniature pinscher. Morris still seemed to be somewhat insecure, but J. and K. were telling him that they still loved him. Though much of his face is white now, he's down from 30 pounds to 25, and it definitely looks like a healthier weight for him. It must be easier for Morris to move around now that he's at a better weight. It was nice to see J. and K.
