Mom and Dad headed off for Mom's 50th college graduation reunion. I have to work.
Later: My days-off substitute home health aide showed up after all, despite her dislocated shoulder. I let her work and headed off on various errands around the area that I'd wanted to do. I stopped by the local home health aide agency office and picked up a couple of boxes of gloves. I picked up a couple of things at the grocery store, and a Father's Day card for Dad and a pair of slippers for me at the dollar store.
The repairman for the chairlift came and fixed that. I was happy.
