B. called me a little after 9:00 a.m. to make sure I was coming to work today. The aide from the home health agency who was supposed to be there on my days off had dislocated her shoulder, and called B. in the morning on Tuesday to tell him that. B. got a home health aide from the retirement community who wouldn't go near the kitchen because Miss Daisy was in there. I heard the story in detail from B. and R.
B. was quite discombobulated from his Tuesday, and so was R. I got B. cleaned up and settled (relatively so), and cleaned up after Miss Daisy, and gave her water. One of my tasks is making sure she has fresh water every day. She hadn't had any water left. She drank a lot of water right away. It took me some time to get everyone sorted out and get all the tasks done, but eventually everyone was as comfortable as I could make them, and they all had fresh water and plenty of food available.
After work, I went to Walmart with Mom, and got some things I'd forgotten yesterday. After dinner, I went to the library and picked up a few books.
