It was warm but raining lightly when I went to the DMV. While I was waiting, the rain turned into a deluge. I could see sheets of rain coming down outside the glass in front of the office, and people were coming in looking very damp. I only had to wait half an hour, which is not bad for the DMV, and got a horrible picture of myself. It was take two, and the first one had been worse. I didn't want to keep other people waiting. At least that's done for four years.
I made it to an appointment.
It's supposed to snow Saturday, so I may have a rain/snow day alternate for another time when the weather is better.
It was very windy when I drove home in the afternoon, and wind-blown branches were hitting my car. I saw the occasional snowflake, too. I decided to stay home after that.
I talked with A. for over an hour in the evening. I started watching a Netflix documentary about ex-Hasidic Jews at 11:30 p.m., and stayed up until 1:00 a.m. watching it.
