I did some more cleaning. I ended up driving Mom crazy, as there was a lot of holiday stuff in the dining room, and I went through it all. There was a gift to Nana A. from Aunt A. Both of them passed away some years ago. Mom inherited all of Nana A.'s possessions, so she opened it. It was a blue butterfly suncatcher. I opened things I hadn't opened yet, and had Mom open her own things she hadn't opened yet. I found a number of things I'd been wanting to find for several years. Not everything, but a good amount of things I wanted to find.
I went outside for a while. I wanted to move the various unused flower pots from the front yard to over by the shed. I got a good bit of that done. I saw winter honeysuckle in bud, but not in bloom. Perhaps the deer are eating the blossoms. The lilacs have leaf buds. The 'Ice Follies' daffodils in the "herb" garden have flower buds. The mahonia does also. The leaves of tulips and daffodils that Dad and I planted a couple of years ago are coming up. There are a lot of "Tete-a-Tete' minature daffodil leaves coming up. Nothing from the area in the front covered in straw. Those flower bulbs got planted in December, and didn't have a consistent chilling period. Perhaps they'll do something next spring.
