Dad went with me when I went to get a blood test. Last time I had been sick and shaky. This time was better, but I was still happy I didn't have to drive.
Later, Mom and I went to a grocery store. Mom drove over my irises backing up the driveway at home, and then stepped on them a couple of times.
Dad asked me to come help him outside. We found the wreath J.D. had instructed me how to make a couple of years ago. We didn't find it last year. After that, I cut down the taller weeds in the herb garden, and the lemon balm stalks with seeds. I went around front and cut down the apple mint. I cut down dead stalks of spearmint and caraway thyme in the raised bed, and all the weeds around the irises in the "crocus" garden. The mints will come back, of course.
